“Our Town”

Thornton Wilder’s Pulitzer Prize winning classic “Our Town” is back on the Main Stem. Under the direction of Tony Awards-winner Kenny Leon, the residents of Grover’s Corners include Katie Holmes, Zoey Deutch, and Julie Halston. Screen Star Jim Parsons plays the Stage Manager. “Our Town” is in previews at the Ethel Barrymore Theatre. Opening night is set for Oct. 10.

“Counting and Cracking”

At NYU’s Skirball Center, don’t miss “Counting and Cracking” — a co-production with The Public Theater. In this epic family tale, 19 performers take audience members on a “multi-generational journey of a Sri Lankan-Australian family” that spans decades.

At Joe’s Pub, comedian Tim Murray is bringing his spooky send up to some of pop culture’s most iconic wicked ladies center stage with an encore presentation of “Witches.” Joining Tim on Sept. 25 is “Wicked” and “Sabrina the Teenage Witch” alum Jenna Leigh Green.
