New York Fashion Week is now underway and the hot ticket Thursday was the Elie Tahari show.

NY1's George Whipple spent some time with the Israeli-born designer, who says New York in the 1970's is his inspiration for his new collection.

He showed his Spring/Summer 2020 line at Spring Studios in TriBeCa.
