After the deadly helicopter crash in the Hudson River this week, momentum is building behind legislation in the City Council that would limit helicopter traffic in and around the city.

Manhattan City Councilman Christopher Marte is among those sponsoring a bill that would prohibit non-essential helicopters from operating at heliports owned by the city.

He joined NY1's Roger Clark to discuss the push for tougher regulations.
