Opening Day for the Yankees and Mets is this week, and the teams are gearing up.

The Yankees start their season at home, playing against the Brewers on Thursday.

Meanwhile, the Mets begin their season on the against the Astros. Their home opener is set for Friday, April 4.

However, both teams are heading into the new season with several players on the injured list.

Anthony Rivera, host of the “Subway to Shea” podcast, and Hector Beauchamp, host of the Yankees’ “Morning Brew” podcast, joined anchor Rocco Vertuccio "Weekends on 1" Sunday morning to preview the new season.
