The Free Black Women’s Library is a literary hub, social site, and community space in Bedford-Stuyvesant, Brooklyn. The library features a collection of more than 5.000 books written by Black women and Black non-binary writers.
They offer a weekly book swap and several workshops and free public programs. The library's creator and director, OlaRonke Akinmowo, spoke with NY1 Anchor Rocco Vertuccio Sunday morning on "Weekends on 1."
