A vote to determine the future of a public housing complex in Brooklyn resulted in a tie.

Earlier this month, Hylan Houses tenants were asked to choose between three options:

• Forming a public preservation trust
• Joining NYCHA’s PACT program
• Maintaining the status quo under Section 9

Following the tie, NYCHA will stage a recount and, if necessary, a runoff vote.
