Grishma Shah, a professor of global business studies at Manhattan University, recently took her academic background and applied it to fiction.

Her debut novel “Anagram Destiny” debuted this month. While a love story, it also tackles themes of globalization, immigration and the American dream.

The action of the plot is split between Mumbai, Georgia and New York City.
