When iconic sex therapist Dr. Ruth passed away in July at the age of 96, she completed a project very important to her: a guide to help fight loneliness — which would become her final book.
“The Joy of Connections: 100 Ways to Beat Loneliness and Live a Happier and More Meaningful Life” was released this past week.
The book provides strategies for finding friends, community and intimacy.
The book’s two co-authors, Allison Gilbert and Pierre Lehu, spoke with anchor Rocco Vertuccio on “Weekends on 1” Sunday morning.
