It’s easy to feel claustrophobic if you live in a city with 8 million people, but the sidewalks in some New York neighborhoods can be more claustrophobic than others.

Matt Franchi, a PhD candidate at Cornell University, recently published a new report, “Estimating the Perceived Claustrophobia of New York City’s Streets.”

Anchor Rocco Vertuccio spoke with Franchi about the report on Saturday on “Weekends on 1.”
