More than 350,00 New Yorkers currently face housing insecurity, according to a recently released report by the Coalition for the Homeless.

The annual report — which highlights the number of homeless people and affordable housing units in the city — criticized Mayor Eric Adams and Gov. Kathy Hochul’s performance regarding shelter capacity and access, and how both administrations have handled the influx of migrants in the city.

Anchor Rocco Vertuccio spoke with David Giffen, the executive director of the Coalition for the Homeless, about the report Saturday on “Weekends on 1.”
