The U.S. has selected its roster for the women’s wheelchair basketball team.
One of the players, Josie Aslakson, is back after earning a bronze medal at the last games. Aslakson has been playing Wheelchair Basketball since she was 13-years-old.
She has a connection to New York - she studied dramatic writing at NYU before playing sports in Texas and at the University of Arizona, where she currently serves as the head coach.
Josie Aslakson joined NY1’s Stef Manisero to talk about what she hopes to accomplish at the upcoming games.
