A funeral home in the city is celebrating a major milestone.
The Frank E. Campbell Funeral Chapel has been in business now for 125 years.
It was founded on the Upper East Side in 1898. Over the years, the funeral home has arranged funeral services for some of the most famous New Yorkers — from John Lennon and Jacqueline Kennedy Onassis to Biggie Smalls and Joan Rivers and political leaders like Mayor Ed Koch and Gov. Mario Cuomo.
It is often referred to as the funeral home to the stars.
NY1's Rocco Vertuccio spoke with William Villanova, president of the Frank E Campbell Funeral Chapel, about the funeral business and the importance of family estate planning.
