The 12th annual Schomburg Center Black Comic Book Festival is underway at the Schomburg Center in Harlem.

This year's festival kicked off Friday and continues Saturday.

The annual event features panel discussions, workshops and a cosplay showcase that highlights the importance of Black culture in the comic book industry.
