The AARP has released a policy guide with dozens of recommendations to help address important issues facing older New Yorkers.

The “What Older New Yorkers Deserve: NYC Blueprint for Action 2.0” report lists more than 90 ways the city can improve the lives of of New Yorkers over 50 years old. This includes everything from fighting age discrimination to fixing hazardous streets.

Anchors Rocco Vertuccio and Shannan Ferry spoke with Kevin Jones, AARP New York's associate state director for advocacy, Saturday morning on NY1 about the guide.
