The city is once again gearing up for the annual Village Halloween Parade.

The 49th parade will hit the streets of Manhattan Monday night. This year’s grand marshal float will be taken over by the Brooklyn United Marching Band.

NY1 chief photojournalist Dan Keese met up with the group this month ahead of their parade debut.
