ST. CHARLES—St. Charles County is experiencing a countywide 911 outage, according to a statement. Officials say residents should still call 911 in an emergency, since calls will be routed to alternate numbers.

St. Charles is the third most populated county in Missouri, with more than 400,000 residents. More than 100 St. Charles county residents have reported power outages as of 7:30 p.m. Friday. 

For those experiencing an emergency in St. Peters, officials say the dispatch center can be reached directly at 636-278-2222.

St. Charles County says officials say they’re actively working to resolve and will provide updates as soon as they become available.
