LOS ANGELES — The southbound Golden State (5) Freeway near Stadium Way was temporarily closed for several hours Thursday after a crash involving multiple vehicles and a big rig scattered cargo.
The California Highway Patrol issued a SigAlert just before 4 a.m. Thursday and diverted traffic onto the southbound Glendale (2) Freeway.
The crash left spilled boxes of french fries and diesel fuel on the roadway, according to Caltrans.
