BROOKLYN, N.Y. - The medical examiner will determine the cause of death for a swimmer who drowned Sunday in the waters off Brighton Beach.

Police were called to the boardwalk at around noon.

By the time they arrived, the 70-year-old victim had already been pulled from the water unconscious and unresponsive.

He later died at the hospital.

Police say the incident doesn't appear to be suspicious.
