The city is giving away 125 tickets to Thursday’s ceremony for the WNBA champion New York Liberty at City Hall, Mayor Eric Adams said Tuesday during his weekly press briefing.

Fans interested in attending must text “LIBERTY TIX” to 917-909-2288 by 5 p.m. Tuesday, the mayor said. Adams said the winners will be contacted Wednesday.

The ceremony at City Hall will immediately follow Thursday morning’s ticker-tape parade .

The ticker-tape parade will start in Battery Park and head north up the Canyon of Heroes along Broadway, the New York Liberty said in a press release. The parade is open and free for fans to attend.

A fan event will also be held at Barclays Center in Brooklyn at 7 p.m. Thursday, the team said. Tickets for both the ceremony at City Hall and the celebration at Barclays Center will need to be applied for online.

The Liberty clinched their first WNBA title Sunday night with a 67-62 overtime victory over the Minnesota Lynx in a winner-take-all Game 5 of the WNBA Finals.
