Service on all Long Island Rail Road lines has been restored, but commuters still face 30- to 45-minute delays Friday, the MTA says.

A switch problem caused widespread suspensions during the early morning rush.

The MTA said customers should anticipate additional delays as well as some cancellations while they work to fully restore service.

Subways are honoring LIRR tickets between Jamaica and Penn Station/Grand Central on the E/F and 7 train lines, the MTA said.

As of 7:30 a.m., multiple subway lines — including the A, B, C, D, N, R and W — were experiencing delays, though they did not appear to be related to the LIRR’s switch problems.

Friday’s problems capped a week of significant challenges for the MTA, including service slowdowns, suspensions, and a Con Edison power outage that stranded thousands of passengers underground for hours on Wednesday.

On Thursday, Gov. Kathy Hochul announced plans to direct the MTA and Con Edison to conduct a comprehensive review of the incident.
