Straphangers contended with slowdowns across multiple subway lines throughout the subway system during the Tuesday morning rush.
As of 8:45 a.m., southbound A trains were running with severe delays in Brooklyn and Queens after the MTA removed a train with a mechanical problem from service at 168 St., transit officials said.
Meanwhile, northbound A, C, and F trains were running with delays after "people being disruptive" activated a train’s brakes at York St., according to the MTA.
L trains bound for 8 Ave are also running with delays after a the MTA addressed a door problem on a train at Broadway Junction.
Likewise, N, Q, R, and W trains are running with delays as the MTA removed a train with a mechanical problem from service at 14 St-Union Sq.
