On Tuesday, the jury heard closing arguments in former President Donald Trump’s criminal trial.
The jury will move on to deliberations on Wednesday.
The defense went first and tried to convince the jury of Trump’s innocence and to paint his former lawyer, Michael Cohen, as a liar.
Then the prosecution tried to fend off attacks on their key witness and remind the jury of the documents they say were falsified.
Bonnie Sard, a consultant with the Prosecutors’ Center for Excellence and who formerly served as an assistant district attorney at the Manhattan DA’s office, joined Bobby Cuza on “Inside City Hall” Tuesday to talk more about the closing arguments.
