Queens Borough President Donovan Richards joined “In Focus” to discuss his trip to Nigeria.

He described what it felt like stepping off the plane on his first trip to Africa.

Richards also explained how Lagos is the biggest innovation and technology hub in Africa, with the majority of Black and brown leaders in the space.

The borough president talked about how he plans to implement what he learned on his Nigeria trip to Queens to help further innovation in the city.
