Spectrum News NY1 will open its website and app for viewers to watch upcoming City Council primary debates.
The fourth NY1 debate takes place Thursday, June 22, among Democratic candidates in City Council District 23, a district in the eastern part of Queens that includes all or part of Bayside, Douglaston, Glen Oaks, Oakland Gardens, Fresh Meadows, Hollis and Queens Village. The candidates in the debate include the incumbent, Linda Lee, who has represented the district since last year; Steve Behar, a former staffer to former City Council member Barry Grodenchik; and Rubaiya Rahman, a community advocate.
