For months, New York City Mayor Eric Adams' administration has been pleading with other municipalities across the state to help with the influx of asylum seekers that have arrived in the city.
While there has been pushback from some elected officials in places like the Hudson Valley, Albany Mayor Kathy Sheehan told “Mornings On 1” Wednesday her city is ready to step up.
New York City has sent about 80 migrants to the Capital Region, and Sheehan said Albany is looking forward to helping more.
