Brooklyn rapper Bobby Shmurda will spend more time behind bars after pleading guilty to gun charges.
The 22-year-old rapper, whose real name is Ackquille Pollard, was handed a seven-year prison sentence in exchange for pleading guilty to illegal weapon possession and conspiracy charges.
Shmurda was arrested along with a dozen others in December of 2014 for their involvement in drug trafficking and several gang-related shootings in the city.
The rapper rose to stardom in July of 2014 after a dance craze from one of his music videos went viral.
