A grocery store chain wants to make sure all families on Staten Island can celebrate Thanksgiving this year with a holiday meal.
Shop Rite of Staten Island pledged to donate more than 3,000 turkeys.
They'll go to local organizations who will then hand them out to those who need them most.
"We try to make it as comprehensive a program as possible. And our goal is, at least on Thanksgiving day is that no child and no family go without a meal," said Shop Rite Owner Kevin Mannix.
This is the 10th consecutive year Shop Rite has donated turkeys for the holiday.
