A Florida man is dead after police say he was punched in the face in Queens.

Now the search is on for the alleged attacker.

Investigators say the man punched 35-year-old Sabor Szabo early Sunday morning in Long Island City. 

It happened near 29th Street and 41st Avenue around 1 p.m.

Szabo's head hit the pavement and he lost consciousness.

Police say he was taken to the hopsital immediately after and died Tuesday.

The company Szabo worked for says he was a caring person and a smart businessman.

Police say the alleged attacker fled the scene in this car going north on 29th Street.
