A new exhibit at the Queens Museum features personal stories of Queens residents.
Bordr, a Swedish art co-op, opened its latest exhibit on November 21st.
The project explores the geographical and emotional borders people experience locally and worldwide.
Visitors write on blackboards and use interactive maps to share what borders they come from.
Organizers say the diverse stories provide a universal connection.
"The idea is that everybody crosses borders in space, mind, and time, so we're all migrants in a way, and this notion of crossing borders is something that connects all of us," said Marcus Haraldsson, Bordr Executive Director
The exhibit runs until December 31st.
