Police in Manhattan are investigating after the price of a salad Sunday led to a stabbing inside a deli.

Investigators say two women got into an argument with the worker at the Big Apple Food Market on the Lower East Side Sunday night.

The women left the store and came back with another man.

The 32-year-old employee and man then got into a fight, before the man pulled out a sharp object and stabbed the victim in the arm.

The man then fled the scene and the victim was taken to Bellevue Hospital with non life threatening injuries.
