An actress who was pulled from a Manhattan high rise fire earlier this week has reportedly died.
The New York Post says Broadway actress Vivien Eng died from injuries she sustained in the fire.
The flames broke out just before 4:30 p.m. Tuesday at Manhattan Plaza, on 10th Avenue between 42nd and 43rd Streets.
The federally-subsidized building contains mostly tenants who are in the performing arts.
Actor Dylan Baker, known for his roles in episodes of The Good Wife and movies like Selma, also lives in the building and tried to help his neighbor get out after he noticed the flames.
Fire officials say the cause of the fire was "careless discard of smoking materials."
