Friends and loved ones gathered Thursday to hold a vigil for a Brooklyn woman whose dismembered body was found earlier this week.
The ceremony took place in Canarsie Park where Brandy Odom's torso was discovered Monday night.
The 26-year-old's arms and legs were found in another part of the park Tuesday.
Police say her head and naked torso were found face down and covered with leaves near a pedestrian pathway.
Her mother was able to confirm it was her daughter from a distinct tattoo that was on her chest.
"This case right here, I want the cops on it. 24/7. I don't want this to be one of the cases that's going to get swept under the rug tomorrow and forgotten about because as long as I'm living, as long as I have breath in my body, I will make sure that justice will get done for my daughter," said Nicole Odom, Brandy's mother.
The medical examiner is still working on a cause of death.
Police are now offering a $10,000 reward for any information leading to an arrest.
Anyone with information on the case should contact the Crime Stoppers hotline at 1-800-577-8477, or text CRIMES and then enter TIP577, or visit www.nypdcrimestoppers.com.
