Two men have been arrested in connection to the three month old murder of a teen inside a livery cab in Brooklyn.
Police say that on the evening of December 29, 20-year-old Ajuul Manwaring and 17-year-old Shaquille Escalaona approached a livery cab on McClancy Place in East New York intending to rob two passengers inside. The pair allegedly got into the cab and attempted to remove 19-year-old Aaron Parkinson.
Investigators say there was a struggle leading to Parkinson getting shot in the torso and the other passenger an unnamed 18-year-old to be shot in the shoulder. They were both taken to the hospital where Parkinson was pronounced dead.
Manwaring and Escalaona face murder and robbery charges.
