A nine-year-old boy was hospitalized Sunday after a train hit him at a Brooklyn subway station, the city police department said.
It happened around 1:15 p.m. Sunday afternoon at the Atlantic Avenue L train station in East New York.
Police said the boy fell between the train and platform before he was dragged for the length of one subway car.
When the train came to a stop, officials said, a family member pulled him off the tracks.
He was taken to Kings County Hospital with two broken legs.
Police said there is no criminality.
