Cashless tolls have arrived in the Rockaways.
The Cross Bay and Marine Parkway Bridges switched over to them early this morning.
Sensors and cameras replace tollbooths, and read the license plates of cars without E-Z Pass, then send the bill in the mail to owners of the car.
It's all part of the state's plan to cut down traffic congestion around the five boroughs.
The Henry Hudson Bridge, the Battery Tunnel and the Queens Midtown Tunnel have already installed cashless tolls.
The RFK and the Verrazano are scheduled to go cashless this summer.
