The labor union representing thousands of transit workers has voted to ratify a new deal with the MTA.
About 70 percent of Transport Workers Union Local 100 members who voted approved the agreement.
The union reached a tentative contract with the MTA last month that gives pay raises to more than 30,000 employees.
The MTA board will now vote on the deal at its next meeting to make it official.
In a statement, TWU's president thanked union members for supporting the contract.
