The National Book Awards return this week to the city.
The best of the best in literature, fiction, and nonfiction are being celebrated in Lower Manhattan.
Actress, comedian and author Kate McKinnon is hosting the award ceremony, and Grammy Awards-winning artist Jon Batiste is the musical guest.
The National Book Foundation is also celebrating 75 years of the awards this year.
