Vice presidential nominees Democratic Minnesota Gov. Tim Walz and Republican Ohio Sen. JD Vance went head-to-head in a debate Tuesday night in New York City.

Historically, the vice presidential debate rarely changes the trajectory of the race — but the two running mates were respectful of each other and mainly focused on the issues and their differences in policies.

Democratic strategist Jesse Lee and Republican strategist T.W. Arrighi joined “The Rush Hour” on Wednesday to break down the debate.
