It's a tennis takeover in Queens as the US Open makes its way to the borough.
Fans of the sport are already making their way to the Billie Jean King National Tennis Center in Flushing.
There's plenty of free festivities like musical performances and youth clinics.
Many people get a chance to watch qualifying matches and see some of their favorite players practice ahead of the main tournament on Monday.
"The most special part about it is that the fans are sitting right on top of the action," . We have bleacher seats and seats all over the 16 courts that we're using for the qualifying week. And if you're a fan, it's hard to believe that a player could actually be better than they players we're seeing on the courts right now just trying to qualify."
"These guys are fighting for their lives to get into the main draw, and you got to respect that, how hungry they are. So it's really fun to watch, you got to cheer them on their final chance to make it to Monday."
The tournament goes until September 10.
