At a rally on Long Island Wednesday, former President and Republican nominee Donald Trump told supporters that he’s hoping to bring back former U.S. Rep. Lee Zedin to Washington.

Zeldin, the strongest performing statewide Republican candidate for governor in two decades, told Capital Tonight that his focus is on Nov. 5, Election Day, at this point.

Zeldin went on to discuss his opposition to Proposition One, which would include an “Equal Rights Amendment” to the state Constitution, and some of the issues that will be major factors in this November’s election.
