Gov. Kathy Hochul joined Buffalo Bills fans at McGeary's Irish Pub in Downtown Albany on Sunday night, ahead of the team’s championship game against the Kansas City Chiefs.

“We are packed with Bills fans and really excited about the outcome,” Hochul told NY1 ahead of her team’s eventual loss to the Chiefs in a tight 32 to 29 point game.

“All I know is there's Buff-a-love everywhere where I go!” the Buffalo-born governor added.

The New York Democrat and her husband, First Gentleman William Hochul, led the crowd singing the Buffalo Bills “Shout Song” and glad-handed fans throughout the first half of the game.

The governor also donated $70 to a McGeary’s bartender fighting cancer and exchanged “Bills” rosary beads with a friend she attended Catholic grammar school with.

Hochul also confirmed that she’s a staunch Labatt Blue Light drinker, noting to NY1 that it helps cut the “calories.”
