Citi Field is expanding to nearly 80% capacity Friday as the Mets begin a three-game set against the Padres.

About 34,000 fans will be allowed in. Ninety percent of the seats are reserved for vaccinated fans.

The Mets started using separate sections on May 24, but there were only a handful of vaccinated sections.

Now, just 3,000 seats will be reserved for unvaccinated fans, who are still required to socially distance and wear masks.
