New ferry service is launching Wednesday, giving commuters a new way to travel between the Bronx and the Lower East Side.
The new Soundview NYC Ferry route connects riders from the Bronx to ports on East 90th Street, East 34th Street, and Wall Street.
Service changes are also scheduled to take effect on the Astoria and South Brooklyn ferry routes.
