With just six weeks to go until the Democratic primary, Governor Andrew Cuomo maintains a very strong lead over challenger Cynthia Nixon according to a new poll.
Siena College says likely Democratic primary voters favor Cuomo over Nixon 60 percent to 29 percent.
Cuomo also has a favorability rating of 67 percent among potential primary voters, while Nixon's favorability is at 43 percent.
In the race for State Attorney General, Public Advocate Letitia James leads Congressman Sean Patrick Maloney 25 percent to 16 percent.
Zephyr Teachout is in third place, and Leecia Eve is fourth.
The poll has a margin of error of plus or minus 3.9 percentage points.
