BROOKLYN, N.Y. - The 2018 Nathan's Hot Dog Eating Contest is in the books.
Joey "Jaws" Chestnut broke his own Coney Island record Wednesday to take the Mustard Belt for the third year in a row.
Chestnut blew away the competition on the men's side by devouring 74 hot dogs in 10 minutes.
That smashes the record of 72 that he set last year.
This is Chestnut's 11th overall Nathan's title.
"As long as I'm happy and healthy and the contest is fun you can count me in," Chestnut told reporters afterward.
On the women's side, Miki Sudo won the Mustard Belt for the fifth straight year.
She took first place by eating 37 hot dogs in 10 minutes.
That's four shy of her total last year.
