Investigators at the local and federal level have reportedly raided offices of the City Housing Authority in Queens.
The Daily News says records and computer hard drives were seized Wednesday by agents from the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development, the Environmental Protection Agency and the city's Department of Investigation.
They specifically targeted the fifth floor of the Long Island City NYCHA warehouse, which houses the unit overseeing lead paint and absestos removal.
On Monday, the city settled a federal probe for $2 billion to appoint a monitor to oversee changes and repairs at NYCHA.
