A Brooklyn man died from a suspected K2 overdose Saturday, according to sources, just two days after police confiscated more than 1,000 envelopes of the synthetic drug in Brownsville.

Police said William Minion, 33, was found unconscious inside his apartment on Putnam Ave. in Bushwick around 3:30 a.m.

Sources tell NY1 that a package containing K2 was found next to him.

Minion was rushed to a local hospital, where he was pronounced dead.

Just one day earlier, the National Action Network held a rally against the sale of K2. Demonstrators hit the streets of East Harlem, placing a red "X" in the windows of stores they believed sold the drug.

Investigators said there have been more than 200 reported overdoses and visits to emergency rooms in Brooklyn in May alone.

The synthetic drug can cause hallucinations, vomiting, seizures, and kidney failure.

The production and sale of the drug was outlawed in the city in 2015.
