Police are looking for a man after a domestic dispute inside a Hamilton Heights hair salon sent a woman to the hospital.

Video shows the stabbing, which police say happened inside a salon Thursday morning. A woman tries to flee as police say the attacker lunges at her with a screwdriver, and a witness comes to her rescue.

The man, a barber at the FG Barbershop and Unisex salon, said the two are married and have had troubles.

Friends said the couple also has a five-year-old daughter.

The woman recently arrived from the Dominican Republic and had been working as a waitress.

She was taken to St. Luke's Hospital and was treated for multiple lacerations and stab wounds.

The barber said another witness stepped in and the suspect ran away.
