Some of the biggest legends in the surfing world can trace their roots back to a group of teenagers that shared a house on the North Shore of Oahu.

Living together and competing with one another in the 90's as they helped shape modern surfing culture, many grew to become some of the most famous names in the sport.

"Momentum Generation" is a new documentary premiering at the Tribeca Film Festival Saturday.

Three of the surfers featured in the film, Rob Machado, Taylor Knox and Taylor Steele, joined us to discuss their experience.
