Dozens of city firefighters were needed to get a two-alarm fire at a Queens car wash under control Sunday morning.
It happened around 8:28 a.m. at a car wash on Queens Boulevard near 45th Ave. and 74th St. in Elmhurst.
The city fire department said the fire quickly grew into a two-alarm blaze, and it took 60 firefighters and 12 units to get the flames under control by 9:07 a.m.
No injuries were reported.
